Travel photography

This website is all about photography, and mainly travel photography. I love travelling, where I can meet people around the world. The pictures you can see on this website are the result of many travels over the last years, and I'm happy to share these images on flickr as well as on this website. I hope you like the virtual trips through Africa, America, Asia and other beautiful places on the world. Check out the worldmap to discover some of the most beautiful spots of the world. Have fun and enjoy.

Travel blog

In July 2011 I started a photoblog. You will find stories and photos about beautiful spots which I visited in recent years. Each blog post is accompanied by a photo gallery. I travelled in Africa, South America and as well in Asia. Hopefully I can visit a lot more places in the future, so that this travel blog will have a good overview about lovely places, friendly people and beautiful landscapes.

Through the Viewfinder

'TtV', or 'Through the Viewfinder' photography is defined as taking a picture of any subject through the viewfinder of another camera. There is a large TtV group on flickr and a TtV photography book is also available on Blurb. Check out the TtV gallery on this website with TtV shots which I took mostly in the year 2008 and 2009.

Poladroid

'Poladroid' is an easy to use image maker. With that tool it is possible to create vintage pictures with a "seventies effect" and the look and feel of the old Polaroid images. Here you can find more information about the Poladroid tool. Check out the Poladroid gallery on this website with portraits taken in Africa.

TiltViewer

The TtV gallery and the Poladroid gallery use both the fabulous 'TiltViewer'. The TiltViewer is a free, customizable 3D Flash image viewing application. Have fun ! Here some TiltViewer controls:

  • Click images to zoom-in, click again to zoom-out.
  • Click the background to zoom-out.
  • Cursor keys to navigate between images.
  • Space-bar to zoom in/out.
  • Right-Click Menu: Go Fullscreen. Opens TiltViewer in fullscreen mode.
